Asus has officially released Zenfone 3 ZE552KL, a midrange smartphone built for photography. Delectably priced at $498 Singapore dollar, the handset runs on ZenUI 3.0 on top of Android 6.01 Marshmallow OS.
Powered by the all-new Snapdragon 625 octa-core chip means it is a lot more power-efficient than its predecessor. With onboard 64GB alongside 4GB RAM, you can practically perform any daunting tasks put in front of it including gaming, watching movies, editing or taking beautiful pictures, emails, and social media. For sure you can even connect the device to a monitor and use as a desktop computer!
Instead of using industry standard 12-megapixel, the Zenfone 3 is enclosed with four-axis optical image stabilisation to its 16-megapixel rear camera which is pretty impressive for a mid-range device. This feature enables more focus picture to be taken even while moving. You can also expect a more true-to-life selfie photo taken from its front 8-megapixel camera as well.
Asus understands performance is nothing without power. Fuelled by a 3000mAh battery, the ZE552KL can maximise your usage throughout the day; having said that, it is also equipped with USB Type-C that allows faster-charging technology that lets you juice up your battery level up to 60% at only 39 minutes.
The Zenfone 3 will be pricing itself competitively at $398 Singapore dollar for the 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and $498 4GB RAM, 64GB variant. Rest assured as Hitec Mobile aim is to enable consumers to enjoy the gadget you desire at a particular rate.
What it comes to design, the thin bezels at 72% screen to body ratio keeps the Zenfone 2 manageable for one-handed use. The brushed metal finishing, together with curved back tapers down to both side to sit nicely in your palm. The concentric circle design gives the phablet a premium look and feel.
