On March 15, 2023, Samsung revealed their latest mid-range Galaxy mobiles: the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and A34 5G. These two devices are expected to shake up the market.
The newest Galaxy A-series phones from Samsung have Nightography and AI-assisted imaging capabilities, along with tools for capturing high-quality videos. These phones also offer advanced editing features to help users remove unwanted shadows and reflections. Additionally, the models have enhanced optical image stabilization (OIS) and video digital image stabilization (VDIS) to improve the quality of videos.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and A34 5G come with the latest Samsung One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13. They feature Samsung Knox security and are guaranteed to receive up to four OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
The Galaxy A34 5G is very similar to the Galaxy A54 5G,with the main differences being its camera setup and chipset. It comes with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, which is slightly larger than the A54's, with the same FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate paired with Vision Booster. The A34 5G also has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast-charging and has expandable storage up to 1TB through a MicroSD card slot, same as the A54 configuration.
In terms of main camera, the setup are quite uncommon compare to A54. The main camera has 48 megapixels, an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, and optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The chipset used in this model is MediaTek's Dimensity 1080.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, which is be making its way to Singapore shore on 7 April 2023 comes with four colours internationally; Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Silver.
The latest midrange phone from Samsung is available at various locations including the Samsung Online Store, physical Samsung Experience Stores, and Samsung's official storefronts on Lazada and Shopee.
