When you mention the name Huawei & Xiaomi, everyone knows this two Chinese powerhouse are. But one brand that recently stood toe to toe along with them is Meizu. Founded in Zhuhai in Guangzhou China, the up-and-coming smartphone maker has established itself by consistently offering smartphones with high-end spec coupled with beautiful design at a lower-tier price.
One model that stood out against the likes of Redmi Note 2 and Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is the MX4. The device sports similar round edges and chamfered body as an iPad mini, along with a circular home button that sits on the screen bottom which double up as a light notification button.
On the backend, it is powered by an Octa-core 2.2GHZ Mediatek chipset alongside 2GB RAM. Although on paper the spec does not look impressive, it does handle heavy gaming apps and multi-tasking very smoothly without hiccups, thanks to Meizu`s Flyme OS which are lightweight and user-friendly.
